PROGRAMME: EU H2020
ABSTRACT:
The main objective of the European Project CROSSBOW is to propose the shared use of resources to foster cross-border management of variable renewable energies and storage units, enabling a higher penetration of clean energies whilst reducing network operational costs and improving economic benefits of RES and storage units.
The project has a budget of 22M€ (co-funded by the EU under the H2020 programme). It has a duration of 48 months and the consortium working on it is form by 24 partners from 13 countries .
In addition to the technology partners from Spain, Germany, Austria, UK and Slovenia; the project counts with the active participation from the TSO (Transmission System Operators) of 8 countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Montenegro, FYROM, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia.
