The MEISTER and USER-CHI projects coordinated by GRUPO ETRA present their tools in an online course on charging infrastructures in urban mobility.
It is becoming increasingly common to see electric vehicles (EVs) on our streets and more and more users are opting for this type of vehicle to develop their mobility. However, this reality, which has positive implications for climate and traffic calming, among many others, brings its own challenges that need to be addressed. Urban mobility professionals and policy makers and drafters are the first to be interested in knowing specific aspects related to EVs.
Parking space for this type of vehicle is one of the main issues to be addressed, but it is not the only one. It is also necessary to rethink the organization, control and management of EV recharging in a safe and environmentally friendly way that benefits all the actors involved. For all these reasons, the online course “Recharging infrastructure planning in urban mobility” has been designed.
The European projects MEISTER and USER-CHI, both coordinated by ETRA GROUP, together with the GreenCharge project and CIVITAS ELEVATE have created this online course, where the two European projects have reflected in the content their best practices, tools and results. The course, through five differentiated blocks, offers users the possibility to get an overview of current developments, challenges and perspectives on charging infrastructure in urban mobility.
The contents of the online course are available in English through this link and the completion times are free, i.e., each person can complete the course materials using the time they need.
From ETRA GROUP, thanks to our extensive experience in the mobility sector, we contribute to broaden the knowledge of professionals and citizens by reflecting, in the exposed material, the learning and results of the European projects we manage.
