To accomplish this objective, it is essential to improve the communications and the connectivity among the vehicles and the infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>PoDIUM aims to demonstrate and validate in real traffic conditions the use cases proposed by the project. These test the availability and the performance of the connectivity and the cooperation enablers necessary to achieve higher levels of automation.<\/p>\n<p>PoDIUM has a budget of 12,2 M\u20ac (co-financed by the EU under the Horizon Europe program). With a duration of 36 months and a consortium made up of 24 partners. ETRA is the overall leader of the three scenarios from Barcelona\u2019s Use Case, being also the main contributor in the development of advanced traffic management strategies, the management of high priority vehicles and the detection of Vulnerable Road Users in the road management process.
