GRUPOETRA has been awarded the contract for the deployment of a state-of-the-art mobility management system in the city of Vigo, including a telecommunications network that will allow communication between the vehicles connected and the infrastructures linked to the traffic.<\/h3>\n

GRUPOETRA, has been awarded the contract for the development and management of the new traffic management system of the city of Vigo, which will allow connected vehicles to interact with the smart infrastructures deployed in the city. In this way, GRUPOETRA continues to progress in its commitment and leadership in the development of Smart Cities.<\/p>\n

The new system will manage the network of traffic lights and the maintenance of the tunnels, as well as the system of access of the vehicles to the inner old town, and the bluetooth cameras and sensors deployed by the city and, of course, the management of the traffic control center.<\/p>\n

In addition, it will measure the flow of pedestrians and cyclists in the city, and will include sensors that detect the arrival of pedestrians at zebra crossings, having acoustic warnings for blind people that can be activated through mobile phones in all new traffic lights in the city.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n
