The Government of Cantabria has awarded GRUPOETRA the Unified Management and Integrated Payment System for regular public road passenger transport in Cantabria.
The Government of Cantabria awards GRUPOETRA the contract for the supply and installation of equipment for the implementation of the Unified Management and Integrated Payment System in regular public passenger transport by road for general use.
The implementation of the GRUPOETRA system represents a technological modernization of the current system, which serves a community of more than 6,000,000 passengers, presenting advantages such as full interoperability, greater safety, greater transaction speed, greater flexibility, reduced maintenance costs, updated information, comfort, adaptation to the latest technologies, and environmental sustainability.
In the context of this project, more than 170 buses will be equipped with the latest SAE and ticketing technology.
